Aleksander holds a bachelor's degree in photojournalism, and is currently working for the newspaper Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen – located in Lillehammer, Norway.

At the age of 20, Aleksander published his first coffee table book. Today he is the author of four and co-author of five more books.
